Owning the base game prevents me from buying the premium bundle which would save me money on already insanely overpriced DLC.

Nope, that would cost 1.10€ more than just buying all the DLC individually while also losing whatever amount of money I spent on the base game.

If you remove the license from your account, you can freely buy the premium one with all the DLC instead. It's ridiculous, but it works, I did similar with Tekken a while back.
