Everything about this game says it was abandoned at Alpha and patched together to recover some costs on the fans. Sad

This was quite a fun and unique experience. Playing with earbuds in is great. The voices and the environment could be creepy and terrifying but also immersed me like no over game had in that way. I’m very happy I got to play this.

I found this game refreshing. It knows what it is, a simple ‘RPG’ with a story to tell and terminators to kill. Levels are linear with missable side quests if you don’t talk to everyone, but there aren’t many. By the time I completed the game at level 25 I had almost completely filled out the skill tree and I was just dumping points into skills at that point. I skulked through the game crouched and using infrared goggles most of the time and still 100% achievements in 16 hours. I’ll remember this game for the story it told and a glimpse into post-Judgement Day as seen in T1 and T2 movies. An enjoyable one-off game.

Looks great, feels smooth

Get your supersuit and your death buggy and go blow people up. What else do you need?

This game suprised me. Definitely worth the price. It reminds me a lot of Dishonored with the art and gun play. The setting, driving parts and questing are very Borderlands-like. The atmosphere and sound while on quests draw you in an help you feel the suspense, reminds me of Bioshock.

It can get a little linear with the standard hub quest areas, but the mix of types of quests help breakup the "point A to point B" feeling. I spent a lot of time completing race courses to upgrade my vehicles and poking around all the corners looking for little hidden collectibles and crafting parts. Sentry Bots are so badass, so far.

Update: I have completed the game and working on completing the Ultra Nightmare difficulty achievements. This game is a good escape, the characters are enjoyable, the gameplay is fun and it is not overly difficult. I got the completionist achievement in my first run after 35+ hours, with the help of location guides near the end (there are a couple missible collectibles that I was lucky to have picked up). I'm not a great player, but I am progressing along at Ultra Nightmare without much frustration, although the racing parts become unforgiving.

Synopsis: Definitely worth the money for any singleplayer-minded gamer, even at full price.

I recommend this game to anyone who is a fan Warhammer 40k lore or of deep atmospheric experiences. Yes, this game is not complex or fast paced, but that I would argue adds to the experience. You trudge through clastrophobic corridors as a walking tank while hoards of ravenous aliens charge your small group. The best part of this game is the detail to the lore of the universe. The art, the 'history' and sound all create an experience that is worth your time, if you are interested.

Hands down the best 40k game of all time. The atmosphere, the characters, the brutal combat just leaves you wanting more.
