Just had to drop a note after reading your profile - it’s rare to come across someone whose honesty, humor, and sharp voice feel so alive. I also really enjoyed your takes on Fran Bow and Night of the Full Moon. Great job.

By the way, our little “well written” debate on Steam review got me thinking - it’s refreshing to see someone who actually cares about the craft of writing, even in short game blurbs.

Yeah, I reckoned as much. But it could be they just have internet and electricity problems as a result, so not all hope is lost. I wish he'd endure the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ times. War is a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a government thing through and through. Our countries are fighting, but we never did.

We havnt heard from him in a couple of months, and due to the war in Iran we fear the worst :'(

Ha ha ha! I can't believe you recommended Babel. It's the Text Adventure that I always recommend. It's one of the games I replay every so often.

I also recommend Gumshoe (1996) and Recluse (2008) as, like Babel, they are able to be completed in a reasonable amount of time by mere mortals.

I did and I had the exact same experience. I started a lot of them, Zork and such, but they're all softlock simulators as you know. I can recommend you one text adventure that is FAIR and has sensible puzzles: Babel. It's awesome.

I'm embarrassed to not remember that. I played all six Space Quest games for the first time back-to-back in 2020, but I guess there is a lot that didn't stick with me.
