Great game concept. It looks like an actual sport formatted as a video game. Game could use some updated UI/layouts/settings. Game is fairly retro looking like it was made in 2000. The game also has NO PLAYERBASE. If you try the bronze bots or higher, they will dumpster your garbageself for your first time around

Supraball on Steam has a better concept. I would imagine my ratio of hype of competitive Supraball gameplay vs competitive Rocket League gameplay is about 1.8 to 1.

Looking for a survival game? Just play DayZ, Miscreated, Conan Exiles, Rust

Looking for a battle royale game? Just play PubG, Fortnite

The people that like Dota 2 are similar to the people that like World of Warcraft. The only difference is that Dota 2 prizepools are insane. Dota 2 seems outdated just like WoW but they obviously still have their fanbase. Kind of hard imagining people starting either game for their first time these days.

It's been a hot minute since Valve updated the game. They're either cooking up something spicy or they're content/don't give a fk.

Room for improvement. It's a good competitive game but gets old. The only things really updated are maps and map rotations. Mechanics/gunplay/servers/engine haven't been touched significantly. It's like a good bag of chips left open. The game is stale.

I like to play this casually. I would take the game more seriously but the people in charge are ♥♥♥♥.

Pros:
Gunplay is nice
FPS concept with potential

Cons:
The company running this game couldn't make it more blatant that they just want money and not a game that could do well and last for a long time. That being said
-Fairly ♥♥♥♥ servers
-90% of the top tier guns are only achievable through real money
-They use russians to deliver video content to players in NA

Overall, I hope the game dies completely, so my belief that the game could be so much better dies with it.
