i can't really recommend this game.

after playing through it multiple times and getting a few different routes, just couldn't get into it. conversations and dialogues felt lacking in context and meaning beyond how they transparently influence your stats. the gifting system feels tacked on and adds a weird random RNG vibe to everything, but otherwise each playthrough is picking a choice between a number of random options that don't really feel like a conversation. i got a few good endings and a few bad endings, and i couldn't say i felt particularly emotionally moved by any of them.

the music is cool, the art and presentation is neat, and i didn't refund it, but ultimately this game felt like "click curiously labeled buttons to raise your stats to get an ending with a character you can't emotionally connect with". i don't think there was a real moment in the entire time i played where i felt even slightly immersed in the experience.

love this style of game, love isabelle as a protag, love the occult/supernatural and western themes blended together. its a tight, small game, but it is addicting and fun.

one of my favorite horror games, someday i'm going to actually finish it, but i've already enjoyed watching so many other people play it!

you are a bad boy

I've dusted off 12 or so of the 50 games in this collection. I'm taking my time discovering the games because I've already found a few I really liked to just chill out and play when I'm relaxing. Each time I discover a new game, it feels a little like unearthing some of that long past wonder I had as a kid whenever I got to try a new game at a friend's house or received one as a gift. I love the retro style of the games - it really does feel like having a big cool game collection of old school games, except they've all actually been play-tested and are fundamentally well-designed.

All and all, I give it two thumbs up. I'm excited to discover the rest of the games this one has to offer.

I am going to recommend this game because it's marvelously written and excellently put together. I also love World of Darkness stuff and I've been really into Werewolf lately.

However, there has NEVER been a Choice Of Game that has ever needed a save function as badly as this game imo. This game is massive and very in-depth, and you have to make a lot of decisions and choices blind, and it's very easy to ruin a very thoroughly thought-out run with a tiny mistake, and restarting this game from the start after hours of being immersed in the journey feels AWFUL.

This is a pretty fun Texas Hold 'Em game with an enjoyable soundtrack, art style, and character creation/customization. Some of the boards this game generates each round seem somewhat deliberately engineered for tension and drama at times, and this encourages a significantly bolder and more bluff-heavy approach to the game than a truly random card deck would likely offer, because the chances of players at your table getting straights/flushes on the turn/river seems unusually high compared to a real table, and the game seems to punish an excessively passive play style.

If you're a pure beginner or an early novice (like me) trying to learn how to be bolder and more assertive at your table, this game might be interesting for you. I'd like to see this game get some meaningful updates and new content before I'd ever spend any real-life money on it, but as a completely free online poker game, this one's great.
