The vibe in this game is INCREDIBLE! The grey sky with no rain but a strong breeze blowing through the grass is something this game captures perfectly.

It's not an open world game but it has lots of optional exploration that really reminds me of the Highway 17 segments of Half Life 2 but with more complexity...and a double jump.

The shooting mechanics in the game are serviceable. This is not a Boomer Shooter or anything and the game would never claim to be. There are only 3 weapons: A pistol, a shotgun, and a sniper rifle. They work exactly how you'd expect them to. There is also a grenade with a Halo 3: ODST esque throw that sticks to surfaces. All of these things work but are definitely not the main draw for this game.

I played on the Normal Difficulty and had plenty of health kits and never ran low on ammo. It also took 2 hours to beat the game which was also exploring as much of the map as I could (and I still didn't find all of the story logs).

If you want a very reasonably priced, vibe heavy game with great exploration this is the game for you!

This is an excellent tactical shooter. I'm just hungry for more maps!

This is a perfect game to play while listening to an audio book/podcast/shows and I mean that as a huge compliment. It's relaxing and the graphics are incredibly charming. It has the feeling of a "cookie clicker" sort of game but you do need to be a little more active. But man there are times where you can let your villagers go and watch the resources just start piling up, I love it!

Well now that I have 100% Achievements and have beaten the Cruciball challenges for each character I can say that this is an excellent game! I LOVED Peggle (and still do) but I also love Rougelikes/lites. Whoda thunk combining them would be such a good idea!
Now granted it's not a full game yet but with trying to get all of the available achievements and beating the Cruciball challenges I put almost 300 hours into this. A lot of that stems from the fact that this is a game much like Slay the Spire in that it's a easy game to play while having an Audiobook/Podcast/Movie playing while playing the game.
Go buy it!

This is exactly the kind of game I needed right now. It's so clever! For a second I felt sad when I entered the Mines and it loaded a new zone because I thought "Aw man, I hope I have ways of getting back to the Fishery, there was a safe back there I never found out the combo for!"
Cut to an hour later I exit the mine, explore a beach below where I exited and what do you know! A map to that safe I found with the combination to it! And what's this? A tunnel nearby that is a shortcut back to the Fishery? HUZZAH!

The level design is just brilliant. This game absolutely earns its place among the great immersive sims!

Be on the lookout for the cheese lair...you met get wet along the way but it's worth the constipation!

This is what I've been waiting for! The gunplay in this game is excellent! The guns have great sound and great impact and feel really easy to aim in VR. The story might not be anything crazy but the voice acting and dialogue are really fun and genuinely funny! The locomotive movement is very similar to Half Life Alyx which felt very good and the game also utilizes the Gravity Gloves from Alyx as well.

Some complaints I have are that the shoulder holsters can be a bit finicky as I had many times where I swear I'm putting the gun to my shoulder and it just drops to the ground. I've also found that for at least the AK holding with two hands did not work very well. It felt like it was forcing the gun down to my hip and really limited the range of movement I'd have with the gun.

One thing could very well be just a me problem and also with using Index controllers but when I hold my hands down to my sides I quite often have my hands gripped around the controller which then activates the grab. This meant that near constantly I was grabbing magazines out of my pockets when I didn't want them and the game doesn't just let you put them back into the pocket. The game does allow you to pick up magazines just by walking over them which is fine but it became a bit tedious to have to keep dropping mags and walking over them.

One other problem with mags is that fact them when you do drop them you can not just pick them up with your hands. Normally this isn't a problem but sometimes I'd put a magazine onto a ledge that I could not jump up on top of to pick up with my toes while I could very easily reach with my hand toes.

The last thing isn't a slight against the game really but the campaign at this moment of review is only about and hour long. Maybe longer if you play on the hardest difficulty but on the medium skill it was like an hour and ten minutes. If that is a deal breaker for you at the moment I understand. There is an arena mode which I haven't tried yet but otherwise that's it.

Overall though this is an extremely fun game even its current Early Access state and I can not wait to see what other content the devs will bring to it!

Very fun puzzles! I like that this isn't a super expert Portal campaign where you need to know crazy advanced techniques to pass puzzles. Just nice and simple. The story is also very nice with good voice acting. Overall if you like Portal gameplay and want more of it this is a no brainer.

What a fantastic game! I knew I liked it the first time I played it but playing it again just brought it all back. For a campaign that really isn't all that long it is just packed with some of the coolest set pieces I've seen. I would say that Titanfall 2 deserves it's place as one of the greatest single player shooter campaigns up with the likes of Half Life and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

I may never have gotten into the multiplayer but from what I can tell it was also really good! I'm not sure how the online is working right now because I hovered over multiplayer for a good while and it was just trying to contact servers and never made it.

Even without multiplayer this game is worth your time. I can see myself playing this once a year just like I do with FEAR. The whole game almost feels like you're treating yourself. It's just a joy to play.

It's so amazing how different of playthrough you can have between different players. My roommate told me about a really cool character that you can meet on the road and how cool she was. When I got to her she had heard how I got an entire group of refugees killed...which she didn't appreciate. So I killed her, cut her head off, and gave the head to some palidans who were hunting her and got a new sword out of it.

Best part is the game just lets you roll with it. I didn't want to let that camp of refugees die, I really effed that one up, but the game just allows it to go on. Truly amazing.

When it comes to cute, soothing, and wholesome games this is right up there with A Short Hike which to me is glowing praise! The sound of flowing water and the gorgeous visuals and soft beautiful music almost make you feel like you're sitting by the water yourself enjoying a nice spring day.

The gameplay is simple: Help the water to flow down a mountain by moving parts of the terrain down while at the same time making sure it passes by flowers to make them bloom. I love that such a simple concept can be stretched and twisted though as the game goes on and adds new things like dried earth that when watered raises back up a step to the fertilize a flower you couldn't get to. It actually gets kind of hard but if you stick with it the game itself is not too long.

I truly think the length of the game is perfect. As much as I like the atmosphere and the puzzles I feel like if the game went any longer it would start to wear down on me but it ends, I feel, right where it should. You even get rewarded with a very nice song at the end! Very Portal of you guys! Portal is actually what this makes me think of in terms of teaching a player how to play by easing you in and compounding on things you learned earlier in a game.

Overall: Excellent game for a cheap price!
