Well I tried to play this game, but it won't stop crashing. After a little bit of googling, I quickly found that I am not the only one with the issue of course. I tried following people's tips about disabling specific settings etc, see below. It worked for a little bit after applying this list.

- Update your drivers (Obviously)
- Set main graphic settings to High
- Turn on VSYNC
- Turn off MSAA
- Turn off Contact Hardening Shadows
- Turn off Volumetric Lighting
- Set resolution to 1920x1080
- Enable Exclusive Fullscreen

After messing with the settings multiple times I thought I was in the clear. I had progressed a bit and was starting to have fun... It crashed yet again. Welp, time to move on I guess. It's a real shame because Deus Ex: Human Revolution had a pretty interesting and fun story overall. I was looking forward to seeing what the sequel had to offer our main protagonist. It's sad that even after it's been a few years since release, "AAA" games like this are still full of game breaking bugs that will never be fixed.

Also- the DX11 vs DX12 comment is correct- every chance I've been given to run something in DX12 it always sucks. Immediately fixed upon going back to 11.

I never had any technical issues with this game.... I ALWAYS turn off v-sync but that's been since I got a 144hz monitor and there are games that default to 60hz on vsync apparently. But yeah- it ran great on my old GTX970 and runs even better on my RTX2060. Perhaps I'm lucky- everytime I see lots of people saying they are having problems wtih a given game I never have an issue with it. Only time was when I tried the original FEAR lately..... had to look up a frame-rate fix on the community forums. Perhaps I'm lucky but it just seems odd that everytime there is a big bug fiasco I'm always fine. Makes one wonder.

@Conqueror17x I think I'm okay on specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6950X CPU @ 3.00GHz (20 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 65536MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Display: Dell S2716DG 2560x1440 144hz

Turning off MSAA was enough for me to run it on my Dell Precision 5520 with an Intel i7 and integrated graphics like a dream at 1080p. If turning graphical settings down didn't fix your problem, one of two things is true: either your PC just isn't good enough for AAA games, or your Windows registry is convoluted.

If you don't have an average at minimum PC, don't expect to be able to have a pleasant experience with Mankind Divided.

@grizzly adams Only 3.5 hours cause it kept crashing. The specs I have are more than enough to run a game from 2016.

when people leave 3.5hr reviews because their bad computer won't run the game.

@Cat De Kade I know how to run a program as an administrator. Thanks for the tip though. By the way, saying meow in every sentence is pretty cringeworthy.

meow ur entire post is about how u changed video settings to fix a permissions issue. this is rly rly samrtz but plz try this method kk;

start -> cmd -> right click, run as admin -> net user administrator /active:yes -> press enter -> start -> log off -> log on administrator -> launch steam -> launch mankind divided
