No explanation of anything at all. Why does my attack % go down after every attack? This makes it harder and harder to complete encounters. Why do things keep spawning? What are those things? What am I? What is the goal?

I wanted to like this game, but it's overly difficult and thoroughly confusing even for a roguelike.
