I like the game, but why do we need game mechanics that everyone will turn off because they are just annoying? An instant-death enemy pushing me out of a level the instant I spawn in is not a good game mechanic, it turns the game into an RNG roll and kills replayability.

I will forever have to remember to turn off this 'feature', before I start a game, because I just want to play the game and not run from an invincible enemy that kills me on contact (which spawns randomly at the start of any given level, instead of only spawning after spending too much time on a single floor)

The marketplace is unsearchable and it made me quit. You can either search by shop name or item name and neither of those make sense. I won't spend my time searching for the name of an item I don't have just so i can search through ~100 individual shop pages with mostly items totally irrelevant to my search.

If I do happen to find a shop with what I want - how might I compare prices on the item? Back track theough the 100 pages and log the cheapest shop for-each item I want to puchase? That sounds absolutely terrible.

Kills it for me and makes the game unplayable. The core mechanic is player built economy and experience. A marketplace like this does not excite me to participate in anything. This is hardly acceptable for alpha 1 for this title. All I would have expected is basic search features like

Item level, type (weapon / armor / consumable / material etc), gear grade, and rarity, with an OPTIONAL item name field.

I don't see the purpose of any of the search features currently in the game aside from a placeholder that shouldn't exist at this point in development because the changes are quite literally isolated to a single UI window and this is clearly an important aspect of the game.

I also don't see the purpose of player shops that are only accessible through the marketplace board. If each player shop isn't a physical thing in the world i can walk up to and interact with then it's completely pointless and it's just muddying the waters. If this is planned but a WIP then player driven shops shouldn't even be in game at this point in development.

Were it not for the marketplace being a list of 100 or more player shops, the items would have all been on the single marketplace for the town and it wouldn't be so bad, you would have search for an item name and at least received an alphabetized list of items relevant where you could then compare prices.

But this... just no. 1000x no

Frame generation might be required for some demanding games these days, but Borderlands is not that game, and telling people to 'refund the game' when they cannot since they have already played through hours of lag is extortion.

The game performs fine for me personally but there are a lot of multiplayer bugs and issues that are game breaking, and it's not acceptable for an $80 game after tax.

Nah, not for 70 bucks. My biggest complaint is that interaction is based on character position instead of what you are looking at, which is annoying when dealing with as few as 2 or 3 bodies in a small area. You can't make adjustments small enough or even tell which body you are going to pick up.

Keyboard and mouse support sucks, to drag a body you have to hold R and.. use WASD to move? That is awful. You can't change the keybind for dragging bodies either AFAICT.

I will probably buy on sale because I liked the old MGS games, but this is not worth $70 in my opinion. It's even a remake, which makes the entire thing a rerun and even less appealing.

So far, after all the great reviews on this game, I am severely disappointed. This game is on rails, there is absolutely nothing unique about a campaign. I might as well have subscribed to HBO and watched the series. Even with a controller in hand, I am practically watching a sequence of cinematic events.

I have yet to encounter an area that isn't a literal fixed path. Walk down this hallway, through this door, kill N zombies, watch scene, repeat. I hope the game eventually drops me into an area I can explore with a bit more freedom.

The little bit of game that's here is good so far, but this is a demo for $30. I have nothing left to do at 15 hours playtime. I could have probably finished it in under 10.

You have two tiers

Bronze
Iron

The end boss felt like fighting an example boss from UE5 or Unity tutorials. It was the least interesting boss fight I've seen in years and I spent most of the fight laughing.
