I love horror games. Have played a LOT of them. AITD, Undying, Resident Evil, Penumbra, Bioshock, FEAR and so on... Amnesia is by far the most scary game I EVER played. It's so scary that you can't get much fun out of it. Fun is NOT the objective of the game. Also, you won't play it on a regular basis (I only played about 70 minutes, and have to gain strength everytime to continue with it).

Much people stated it isn't scary at all. Maybe because they didn't played it the way it must be played. Try playing by night, on a quiet ambient and with a good pair of headphones. And DON'T play it to win! You don't go and see a movie just to see the end...
