No matter what anyone says I like Larian, even if they break patches. The game is amazing, and they've done all of us a major favor by giving new life into CRPGs. Just remember Larian, you're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you.

I've been enjoying the game a lot, I like the pace of the game, they don't throw agents at you too much, HOWEVER COMMA I've been playing on the South Atlantic map and I'm at a point now where I need to build my H.A.V.O.C. device. I need to be able to dig through stone to access the point where the mission wants me to dig. I however cannot dig through stone until I unlock tier 3 research. Research tier 3 is locked until I get further along in the main story HOWEVER COMMA I cannot advance the main story line until I can dig through stone to get to where it wants me to build my H.A.V.O.C. device. BUM DUMB DUMB! My roommate ran into a similar problem with not being able to advance his main story line until he gets 3 loot missions done HOWEVER COMMA he can't finish his last loot mission until he has leveled the area up to 3 and you can't level locations up to level 3 until you've researched tier 3 research. What a pickle we find ourselves in. I can no longer play my game until this problem is fixed. It seems that Rebellion needs to pay some attention to detail, because this should have been an obvious catch. Hopefully the Dingbats fix this soon so I can change my review.

Great game. I love the Steampunk setting.

Wow nothing is balanced in this game. Some of the classes feel like half a class so you'll probably only ever make the same classes over and over again. It's hard to imagine anyone thinking that the "normal" difficulty is a fair description for what your experience will be. Spider swarms, nothing kills them. The idea is that you fight them with torches or AOE abilities (not too many of those at low level) but the spiders don't seem to care for rules and just play in godmode. You can't hit them, and you slowly watch yourself die. Awesome right? I haven't played too much so far but I can already see that modders will be the only thing to save this game. The game has some really interesting mechanics but is ruined by having zero quality checks, zero balancing, and zero input from anyone outside of the dev team. Unless you want to mod this game into something playable you're just gonna want to save your money. I really want this to be a proper game but it's just a mess.
