A fantastic game of deduction where you investigate the fates of a ship with sixty people. The whole thing feels genuinely epic in his ability to convey scenes, especially with the music. The several "a-ha" moments I had alone, and the game providing me constant feedback on my deductions was excellent! There were several moments that were genuinely gruesome and horrifying, which felt surprising for a game where you only investigate scenes in a frozen state of time.

There are minor hang-ups I have with the game, like the time-waster with the sprites moving from one body to the next, or that the scenes themselves start to lose their panache when you have to revisit them multiple times. These are minor though, and the game itself isn't too long to have to slog through the annoying bits.

For context, I played this partially on my Steam Deck offline and on my PC. It was great on both systems, and in reality probably took me about 6hr. This is a game you play ONLY once, but it's a masterpiece in its genre. It really lives up to be another standout title from the developer who made Papers Please. Even having played it for the first time since its release seven years ago, this felt IMMENSELY unique and enjoyable.
