well it has a system where you queue into a match in a specific character role, so as long as youre good at fps games, you can pick up one character, in one of 3 roles, and figure out whether you like them or not with little incentive to change, due to the lack of direct character counters. Its pretty accessable as far as competitive games go. But if a 5v5 Comp game isnt what you can see yourself playing, it very likely wont suit you regardless.

Overwatch 2 is actually pretty good, awful monetization but otherwise just a bunch of very nice improvements on core gameplay.
