A fantastic aircraft simulator, with beautiful visuals and one of the best Tomcats on the market DCS World definitely is worth the price for each module. However, if you're looking for combat simulation I'd recommend getting Falcon BMS because of how much more depth there is to combat in that simulator.

UPDATE: To this day, DCS continues to improve and be one of the most impressive and immersive simulators I have ever played. As a real life pilot, every hour I have spent in this game has been nothing short of amazing and unforgettable. Every module I've purchased has given hours and hours of great memories. I highly recommend diving into this game if you have a passion for this type of genre.

Being entirely honest and as a pilot myself, I initially came thinking this would be my final flight sim. And I still think this may be the one.

A lot of people have talked about the terrible VR performance they get and issues with installation. I can say that even with a fast internet connection speed the game itself downloaded extremely slowly for me (it took about 2 days to finish downloading). But I promise you if you're patient the experience will absolutely be worth the wait.

I personally play exclusively in VR with a throttle and yoke, and my 1070ti and Quest 2 do struggle playing everything at ultra settings (~20-25fps). However, with the right optimizations (there are plenty of guides to this on steam and online) you can easily get your setup running in no time.

The game is just as great as I remember playing it's older counterparts (FSX and MSFS 2002), and it's absolutely worth the $60.

It was fun with friends

Absolutely terrible asset rip of a game, they even use content from Battlefield 4 (which I know for a fact they don't have the rights to). The game only looks decent because of the fact the assets are high quality and made by talented artists not affiliated with the studio involved in making this game. To keep it short, don't waste your time on this.

A great game, I highly recommend it for a short but great story!
