I really don't get the negative reviews. I didn't play the first Splitgate that much so I don't remember anything from that game, but this is really good! The classes add more strategic play, while Arena is still a fast paced mode. The battle royale is okay, as it surely attracts players from other games. I've seen people complain about the servers, but it must be a skill issue as I've never experienced such issues.
The devs are now reworking the game, and I get it. Many people didn't like the BR mode and the player count was falling (but still in Arena I can find lobbies in a small amount of time, 10 secs to 1 min).
