Enjoying the game so far. Only a few hours in so i will update this as i play. By the end of the game the review should cover all of my experiences the good and the bad.

Update 2: Ummmm forgot to make update. So ummm i like it. Back to the grind. Update 3 in like ahhh 6 months.

Update 1: About 15 hours in so far and i can say i am enjoying the writing in this far more than in Borderlands 3. I have even found my self laughing at claptrap a few times. Which is saying something seeing as he is kinda my least favorite character or one of them.

Note: I do not care if the game requires DLSS/FG to run. So this will not impact my review in anyway. It will not be a positive or a negative. If you don't like this feel free to ignore my review. I don't really care.

Nice to play the game again on pc. Was still great the 2nd time playing through it.

Been playing for 2 months and still loving it, Already have close to 200 hours.

Not sure where to begin, the game overall was.... alright, i guess? Could have been a lot better, but at the same time could have been much worse.

The story was, well to be blunt bad. At times i found myself falling to sleep or wanting to skip cut scenes and dialogue. Which i did start doing closer to the end of game. It was just a very generic story with no characters that really draw you into it.

As for the world, it shares the same issue most open world games do..... if just felt dead and empty... like my soul.

The combat all be it janky at times was the thing that kept me coming back and pushing on. When in combat
it was some of the best times i had in the game. I could see the game having a lot of builds if only there was something to do when you finish the game. NG+ or something would be nice.

To me the whole combat and build system felt a lot like how Godfall was when in first launched. A lot of potential but nothing to really do with it.

Clocking in at 21 hours to almost 100% the game, $50 is a bit much for what you get. If you can get it for around $20 to $ 30 then i would say go for it. You could get far worse games for $30.

Overall I give the game a 6/10.

It's about the only thing that keeps my fat a** from sitting around all day. So 10/10

Update: Still fat.... I wonder if i should bump it down to a 9/10?

About 13 hours in at the time of reviewing and I am loving ever minute of it. I have read a few reviews about crashes and frame drops. I am running a i7-8700k, RTX 2080, and 16GBs of RAM and I never dip bellow 120. Also have not crashed once.

I haven't even updated my drivers in months.

Update:

I feel its only right to be fair, after i got to later parts of the game i was starting to get dips down into the 30 fps. However after the last patch i have had no major fps dips.

Also at this point with over 70 hours and having finished Play through 1 (100%), I am still enjoying the game. I plan on taking it all the way to Dream of the Nioh.

Update 2: 130 hours in and made it to Dream of the Nioh still very much enjoying the game. I took a bit of a break to play other games that came out, however i am now starting to play again.

Update 3: I feed a npc poop, yes you read that right... I said poop! 100/10
