Here we have a coca-cola ad which only lasts for 60 seconds and was released on 2007 inspired by the GTA (Grand Theft Auto) franchise, which I suppose was intended for gamers. It does a flip on the game's narrative by having the protagonist give coca-cola to people on the street and preforming good deeds for strangers with the message carried by a song; "you give a little love and it all comes back to you", instead of stealing from them or otherwise causing harm to them. The message can be interpreted as repetitive or cliché, but it subverts the expectation we had from the usual narrative for GTA titles into a brand frendly message, that implies: "drinking a glass bottle of coca-cola can make the world feel a lot better". I believe this is mostly made to appear as a joke, on purpose. Of course drinking a bottle of coca-cola wouldn't magically make people love eachother unconditionally (as shown in the video) but I feel like it being ridiculous in that way does make me remember it fondly, like the brand itself was self aware of how absurd and comical the concept is, having a 3D rendered character drink a cold delicious bottle of coca-cola and spread the "love" by sharing the beverage. Being honest though, it does make me want one myself, so I guess they achieved their goal of selling the product by using a very ridiculous, BUT, well placed hook which can appeal to gamers and non-gamers alike.
