What a freaking gauntlet this game was... I mean, great platforming, puzzles, even lore. Even though I got way past the point of caring about it mostly. One thing that had really gotten under my skin was inability to skip cutscenes. They're way too long and the game menu is unavailable, I don't know what kinda design that is and why was it made so, but it is kinda annoying and gets boring very quickly, especially how many times you have to repeat some tricky parts, i.e. dying over and over again. Same goes for final credits. If games such as Enter The Gungeon allow you to speed up the credits roll, then why not simply allow players to do the same in MO too? Anywho, glad I got to play it, beat it. Would i play it again? Questionable. But I would play the sequel. Need.dat.lore. Period.

Excellent platformer. Reminds me Of "Environmental Station Alpha" and "MO:Astray". Love the gfx, gameplay's great. "Hold My Beer" difficulty sure is a something. Was very fun but too short.

I mean, honestly. I did not expect for the game to be alive at all. But had no problem finding lobbies or loading into matches immediately. That was a bit weird, but all in all was pretty good. I heard that servers will die soon, which is sad, honestly. There isn't a game like this anywhere. I didn't even see a single hacker throughout many hours of playing. I would recommend to hurry up and give the game a chance before it's dead.

Incredible experience. The world definitely needs more games like this one. Still excited and waiting for that sequel, which was and still is in the works.

Dude, lemme just withdraw form any constructive criticism and say the following: this game IS a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Whoever designed it, had these ideas and suck, get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fired and never work in videogame making industry again. This is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worst kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you can come up with. Not only you dont get to control your character, like in the original game, you just have to play guessing game, dying a million times. I tried, i passed some stages, im super unsatisfied. Everything about MEatboy is ruined now. Everything sucks about this game, including music. Seriously, please, just dont ever make any sequels, or any spin offs, nobody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cares! Just quit, get a new job, guys. You cant handle videogames. Sorry not sorry, i wasted money.

I mean, if you're not just familiar with the Alien franchise but also dig them movies and you haven't played this game yet, shame on you, sir!
One of the best games of all time that I've been honored to play.

This is a creation you can't walk by if you enjoy a good challenging platformer. Ori and the Blind Forest will always be one of my favorite games of all time. A true masterpiece. But the amount of new content that Will of the Wisps has brought makes it by far superior. This is a brand new level. Interactive characters, side missions, puzzles, different challenges, more interesting enemies, bosses, massive maps. These are the things first game didn't have. It's definitely become a more frustrating experience, because it's more challenging, but it's also more rewarding. Personally, I didn't appreciate the controls as much. Sometimes, some things just didn't connect or didn't buffer properly. Neither did I appreciate an overused bit which involves you trying to escape a hazard, especially during boss fights, which, of course, puts your run into a compromising position by killing your character in one hit. Well, thank lord for the checkpoints. In overall, I've had my share of fun with it. Challenges are nice, bosses have patterns, incredible scenery. Another thing I'd like to address, however, is: creators should've done something about characters that happen to be in multiple places at the same time, kind of a weak point for me. I mean, it is a videogame about a magical world, but then again, too unrealistic to have the exact same character in 4 different places, right? Still, a beautiful game with a beautiful story and a lot of action. You can't possibly get bored.
It also runs on Windows 7, just takes a bit longer to load up, at least for me.

Fully removed my initial review, to simply reflect on just a few things (cuz let's face it, nobody cares about any constructive opinion since 2018):

1. The game's an unbalanced piece of hot garbage.
2. Has one of the most toxic communities I've ever seen.
3. Dev team that only care about cash and listen to the cries of only one side of the community that provide most profit.
4. Lobbies that take 15+ minutes to get to?!
5. Constant app crashes every 15-20 minutes?! Do I have to make sure my PC is upgraded enough for one piece of hot garbage of a game or something? If it worked fine in 2018-2020, why should it it be any different now? Well, like i said - hot garbage. Worse than ever.
5. It's not even 10% fun while drunk.

BHVR, this project was so much fun before you took over. Maybe you all should get fired and get real jobs.

Sadly, games like Last Year, Hide Or Die, Friday The 13th, Home Sweet Home, etc were doomed to fail from the very start. And this is exactly why, despite having so many complaints about literally every little (or not) thing or issue, you see 50k players daily. The game lives on, community keeps on getting worse, good for nothing devs profit more and more, that no other game can come any close to compete with DBD. Truly sad sad reality we live in.

Probably the best Single Player game I have played in years. Only took me nearly 11 years to finally consider to give it a try. But I already get a nostalgic feeling. Games like this i truly miss. Its just like Doom series, only not fast paced.

Other than being unable to run it at 60 fps with VSync on and to change skins, this game is a masterpiece of its genre. This game has already become a personal favorite of mine.

Unfortunately, of all experiences in all kinds of games, this game just brings out the most painful. This game is hardly about skill, about 90% of it is pure RNG. Game randomly decides to spawn several hundreds of enemies, thus they spawn projectiles and the entire screen is basically filled up...oh, but guess what, the map layot is also randomly shaped, so in most cases its going to be an open field with no walls or pathways, thus no cover for you. Chances to get good guns vary just as much, sometimes your luck will just stop at Flares and Machine Guns and nothing better. Running out of ammo is also more than probable if you dont get the right mutations. I get it, while killing things is fun and exciting, achievements this game offers, however, are extremely painful to get. Even Looping twice alone would take an enormous amount of luck. Perhaps im not skillful enough to get lucky to progress as much, who knows. I have been quite a fan of this game, been watching streams and it seemed rather doable... But, experiencing it myself changed everything.

Well, that was then. As of past couple of years, this has become one of my main games, hence the hours, cuz I just dunno what to do with my life anymore. What can I say. This game amounts to a love/hate relationship. I do wish some things would've been changed. Such as:
- being able to fully skip the credits, without needing to spam Fire button OR have the win registered as soon as you put your ass into the Throne, NOT after the credits and the final cutscene;
- would sure as hell be nice to remap controls to anything else;
- nerf 5-3 by either reducing the amount of enemies on the map, make sure there are places to go to wait things out or guarantee an actually useful weapon by the time you reach it;
