Exploring is what you will be doing mostly in this game. The game world is big and full of things to find and monsters to kill. Or rather kill you. I'll say that combat is not the best part of this game... it's stale or rather awkward. However you'll never run out of things to find and stuff to do! Well you will, but it'll take you a LOT of time, a lot of good time.

Despite the fact that this game, like any game Bethsda is involved with, suffers from numerous bugs/glitches it is plenty of fun. The fact that they haven't done all in their power to make sure modding is either difficult or impossible makes it worth a buy alone. The game will last you a lifetime and a half much because of it. You can also make the game much more playabe by using mods that irons out some of the MANY bugs or saves you from some CTD problems and freezing. Bethsda realized they were going to ignore most problems and simply let users do away with them; some at least. This is probably not the best thing ever. But consider that most publishers would simply ignore the problems and leave it at that. Some points for that.
The UI is much more PC friendly then the unbearable mess they vomited out for Skyrim. So even more points there.

This game is worth your money. But you would be wise to wait for it to be on sale.

It is very buggy and nearly unplayable without mods. But it is a good game. Get it and get mods that makes it work and you are golden. You will not regrett it.

Get SkyUI first of all because the standard UI is more of a punch and vomit rather then an actual UI.

You might suffer the occasional crash and such. That is rather the norm these days anyway. Bethsda might not do much to fix errors in their games but at least they let users try to. Not perfect but at least it's something.

Appart from being immensly buggy (like F3 or Skyrim, Oblivion.. you get the picture) it is a good game. Thanks to mods it is MUCH MUCH more playable as well. You will enjoy this.

Tons of exploring, sort of stale combat and mods. Completely worth a buy. If on sale. Very replayable and very big.

The good part is Bethsda does very little to fix these things... No wait... Bah... BUT they are not trying their best to destroy the modding community... apart from making a MMORPG, which is very brave of them considering their track record. Modders (yes users) have been fixing a lot of these anoying crashy freezy glitchy stuff. Well mods improve games in general in many ways. This is might not be the perfect solution. But that alone makes it worth a buy. Mods.

Wait for a sale before you buy. Be smart and it will be worth it.
