Dwerve was a fun game, especially on the Steam Deck. The game play makes for a good game to pick up for short periods of time on the go.

As others have said, there are some aspects and limit to the game play that can be frustrating at time, resulting in several trial and error attempts at different challenges, especially the boss battles. But the limits are part of the design and after finishing the game feel like they are correct.

I did walk away feeling like it was missing something after the last battle, and there isn't a whole lot of replay value, unless you want to put artificial limits on your play.

This is a great mix of meta/satire action platformer and turn-based RPG. Difficulty does ramp up pretty quickly compared to your leveling, which can make mastering the jobs frustrating unless you grind on lower-level areas. But the game is flexible enough there is never just one way to accomplish something.

The scale of the game is very impressive and well worth the price.
