A very interesting take on horror and supernatural, falls short compared to the original concept (which was supposed to be a lovecraftian inspired open world game, just for the reminder), but still decent to play.

An interesting modern FPS for sure, RPG mechanics are a bit too present, and some sections will drive you mad, but fun to play and definitely one of the best you can get.
The engine is uber trash though, still recommending it anyways.

The reason why UT is dead, not a bad game in itself but definitely not the best UT, play 99 or 2004 they are much better games !

Yes it's good ! Install Quake Ultimate Patch and you're good to go! NEVERMIND the game is now updated and the official commercial release now has the soundtrack and runs on Nightdive's Kex Engine, with native Vulkan and 64 bit lol.

Square Enix strikes again with a terrible port of one of the best JRPGs ever made !

The 20 years anniversary edition on PS4 is much better. Actually even emulation is a better option in some regards.

The PC version is basically the best way to experience the game after the original emulated through Dolphin, or the original on Gamecube / Wii (with gamecube classic controller)

Maybe the best action horror game ever made ? For the moment it still holds that title actually.
If only the story wasn't so weak though. And yes I have played Assignement Ada. It's still weak sorry.

I'm recommending it but not by much, a missed opportunity for a really great FPS. Enemies are bulletsponges in hard and very hard, but if you play the game in normal it becomes bearable. It's a shame because new game + makes the game a lot more enjoyable to play, but on your first run you'll be like trying so hard to damage ennemies.

Game design isn't solid enough for insane difficulty (do the whole game without dying) because of extremely cheap death that can occur on mistakes (dash forward + little heigh + physics bug = insta kill).

It's a great little game with nice visuals (play the DX9 version with FSAA though it looks much better, or manually supersample the DX11 version at least), get it in a sale and play it in normal for fun.

mmm... hard to say on this one, since F.E.A.R. litterally killed this game. I'm still recommending it because I think this game brought a lot to the video game industry graphics wise, and it is a very interesting experience, even for today.

Mod it to the extreme, it's worth it !

One of the very best survival horror games ever made, period.
Beware that the game is difficult though, even in normal. Also, the game is not made to run on anything else than 1280x720 due to extremely weird UI design. Especially in the menus (errors in selecting things)

Disappointing compared to the first game, but I still recommend it for the amazing Elementary School level.
Get it at a discount price though.
