Great game if you can get in. Stability is a major issue and it was not like this when I played close to launch with the original. Loading can take forever. IT might take 2-4 times logging in to get the game going. 20 min goes by of waiting and that is not worthy of a thumbs up. I have a great rig and bandwith, yet it takes a while to load environments and says check my connection which works great with all my other devices and games. You could have the best mmo on the market if you just cared about the little things that add up...

Do you think amazon support answered back with remedies? nope...

Not a bad game. Biggest flaw I found is when multiple units are close to each other and you want to order a charge, the computer kind of tells you the line of sight the unit will take the charge opposed to focusing on another unit you might want to charge.

I love the building aspect of the game. Taking objectives set you up for the next battle in better shape.

RTS 28 weeks later. I have had a ton of fun with this and glad it gets updates. The Geography nerd in me loves the realistic maps available to play on the globe.

It is not a bad game, I wish I could post a iffy thumb.
It is all about snowballing. Once you get that, you are a force in the game. I grew up with Koei games in the SNES era and favor those over this. Just my opinion.
Not bad if you find this on sale like I did.

I turned the millennium on dial up multiplayer with this game. Still have the exact memory. I was the Saracens.

The AI after all these years is still pretty dumb. I love the original Rome, this one is just ok at best with a ton of DLC to bleed your wallet dry.

Been a Paradox vet since EU1 and met the whole crew of creators when I was chosen as the fan to write the blog at PDXCON NYC back in 2011. So I am well versed in these types of games. This one you have to go into it thinking economy first above everything else or you will be disappointed. Yes military is different and not so much on the micro management side, but this still makes for a good game. I think the economy side will be tweaked as time goes by as it does have some odd stuff happen at times on a world scale with prices. IF you liked the previous two Vicky installments, pick this one up. Just watch some youtube tutorials to help you along the way.

The UI is kinda old, but the game plays like a classic AGEOD title.

Put allot of time into this game on PS4 and Xbox Series X. Great game and all, just wish they had an option to keep dead bodies on the ground. I get why they did it for competition purposes, but casual players should have an option to keep this away. Minor gripe, but the multiplayer is fun. Get ready to shell out time or real money to open up new operators.
