Death Stranding 2 doesn’t just repeat the original, it improves on it. Everything that felt a bit rough before is more polished now, and everything that made the first game unique is still here, just expanded. The gameplay feels more varied, movement is smoother, and both combat and stealth are way more satisfying this time.

But the main thing is the atmosphere. That same strange, quiet, slightly lonely vibe that made me fall in love with the first game is still here. If anything, it hits even harder now. The story and characters are just as engaging, and the game still focuses more on emotions and human connection than pure action.

Visually, it’s absolutely stunning. Easily one of the best-looking games I’ve ever played.

That said, it’s still not for everyone. The pacing can be slow, and if you didn’t like the first game, this probably won’t change your mind. But if you enjoyed the original like I did, this will feel like coming home, just better in every way
