For the longest time my opinion of the game had always remained both hopeful and optimistic that the devs would actually put more care and love into this game. By all means, I love this game with all my heart, but honestly, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this game.
Honestly, I kind of just buried my head under the sand a lot of the times whenever something about the game causes some sort of controversy amongst the community. Mainly because I kept hoping and remained composed that the devs WILL fix the game and they WILL make changes to make this game less the way it is.
But, after the Walking Dead DLC and the recent rift pass, it really showed their priorities and I do want to take a pretty long break from the game.
I cannot recommend this game to any new players just because of several reasons. One, the ongoing bugs and balance changes are just not it for me. Two, I think this game is VERY difficult for new players to pick up, just because of the amount of perks and killers there are in the game now. The tutorial is also extremely outdated and I do think the game needs to redo the entire tutorial in general and the grind on this game is kinda horrendous to say the least. This might just be a me thing, but it just feels rly grindy compared to other games. And three, its just the lack of communication that I think the game rly suffers from. I'll give BHVR credit for actually trying as of late but it rly is only because ppl are giving them attitude and such.
I'll still continue to stick with the game, but like I just wouldn't play it as much.
I would love to see this game succeed and I want to remain hopeful that DBD will fix the quality of this game, but I just want to see significant results.
