I would love to be able to play this game if it didn't constantly crash. I've experienced more crashes than minutes in-game. I've tried all the different settings yet it always crashes within 5 minutes of starting gameplay. I expected better from Sony. I would ask for a refund but I actually do want to be able to play this so they'd better pull their finger out. This same issue plagues Spider-Man Remastered and the Miles Morales game, it's a wonder I've been able to finish the latter two.

Update: Since contacting support, their advice has only made the issue worse.

I finished this game already on Switch, but it's such a joy to play through I bought it again on PC when I couldn't play it on Switch anymore. One of those perfect games which really deserves a bigger spotlight.

I love this game and played something like 50+ hours a few years ago but more recently it continually crashes barely 5 minutes into a new save. With or without darkfog. I hope the devs fix this soon.

I was laughing before the game even began. I can't recommend this enough!

A must-have for any tethered VR user.

Player base filled with incels and extreme RWNJs. Stay away unless you like being constantly griefed!

Huge amount of fun to be had in this open world "hacking" playground. Season pass brings some A-grade DLC and story has great replay value. Finished the game at least 5 times over, great fun every time. Gorgeously detailed environments. Killer soundtrack. Works great on Proton 5.8 GE, plenty of people have had success right out of the box with steamplay. The only downside is external DRM which doesn't work outside Windows, but this is only required for online play. Offline play is unaffected.

A hundred times better than the original game in the franchise.

Unlike anything I've ever played. This game brought out a deep nostalgia in my heart. Worth every dollar.

Waste of money, waste of data, waste of space, waste of TIME.

This game is one of the most abhorrent and disgusting things I've ever come across. You can spend an hour in the first mission trying to exercise your "free will" in this supposedly open world game, but you're still forced to shoot an innocent person in the head to avoid a game over scenario. You can't shoot anywhere else. The subtle text in red telling you to "take out" the civilian, when really what it's asking you to do through a subtle change in language is to kill.

In the first 5 minutes of play, this game does nothing but funnel players into a dopamine loop fuelled by murder, justified through lingual gymnastics and supported by subliminal in-game instructions.

I've never been more disgusted with a game.

Oh, and the online mode is horse$h!t, with its constant dropouts and disconnections. I don't have a single problem with any other online title except this.
