I had BETTER be able to play as my boy Tackle when the game comes out

jokes aside, I do have a few complaints:

I feel like there needs to be more checkpoints and/or fast travel between lanterns, ESPECIALLY in large areas like the cliff-side temple. (I was basically forced to REDO an entire section of the temple, because I died without touching the lantern after circling back to the entrance). Someone in another review mentioned that "this game doesn't value your time", and unfortunately I have to agree with them. There are some parkour segments that require specific solutions, and devolve into tedious trial-and-error until you can figure it out.

I'm also disappointed that you need to gather EVERY collectible in order to complete the demo. I was hoping there was going to be extra left over by the end so I wouldn't need to backtrack to get the ones I missed. I really hope that particular design choice doesn't make its way to the final game.

This demo is still, HANDS DOWN, the most impressive demo for an unreleased game I've ever played. Growing up, my favorite 3D platformer was Super Mario Sunshine, but there's a good chance my opinion will change when Filet Group finish cookin up their Big Catch.

update 8/15: Okay so i did just completed my second save file and got 100%. take that as an indication of how phenomenal this demo is

This game is the most fun cooperative shooter I have played, hands down. Not only has Ghost Ship Games nailed the gameplay aspect of the game, but they have also nailed the atmosphere. This game excels immersing you into the bug infested caverns of Hoxxes. The feeling of walking into a dark cave and throwing a flare, only to find the walls and ceiling are covered with bugs is something that I've never experienced before in a game. On top of that, game's simplistic art style pair beautifully with the 100% destructible environment. There's just something I love about the low-poly models. It's obvious the Devs care deeply about this game, and it definitely shows. This game has been getting pretty big updates every 1-2 weeks so there's always something new to try out.
