I want to start a discussion because I still have this empty feeling, this feeling that I played it wrong or did something wrong with this game. It seems strange to me that so many people touted it as a masterpiece, yet it felt so generic, even though I only played for two hours. I think I've played quite a bit already. I mean, I've almost got all the implants and secret weapons. I only have a few missions left to complete on secret difficulty; I just need to do the secret levels and the Trauma Loop. I've had a pretty good time doing everything so far. Maybe I was a little disappointed that the final boss of the second "ending," so to speak, is just a bullet sponge, and the only viable way to kill him is with the secret weapon in that same level to one-shot him. As I said, I'd reinstall the game this weekend and see how it was after my first impression was so disappointing, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I still don't like things like how overpowered fishing is, which somewhat ruins the fun of the other ways to earn money, or how tedious the game is with the eccentric outfit, but other than that, I'm starting to enjoy it (I won't lie, the dash, double jump, and grappling hook have greatly improved my experience)....
