Genuinely one of the best platformers I've played. Base controls are very intuitive. Feels amazing to play. Level design is cohesive all around and maintains the thematic design to everything. It looks decrepit and bleak and it's meant to, kinda comes back around to looking fantastic despite the VERY low res texturing. One of the areas that throw brighter colours around still remains muted so it fits the overall direction. New ways to get around are cleverly designed. The way the dialogue is handled, gestures and mechanical groans in place of spoken words, is fantastically done. A short simple story that connected really well.
