I'm having a blast! I can't think of another game quite like it. Lots of verticality, lots of speed, lots of explosions, insanely fun. I'm a speedrunner, so I like going fast, and this game definitely delivers on that front. I'm also a huge fan of movement tech, and the jetpack/skateboarding feel of the game hits all the right buttons for me. Competitive games feel competitive, casual games feel casual, balance feels on point for the most part. Despite that, the skill floor is pretty high, so expect to get destroyed for your first 10-20 matches until you get a feel for things.

On the other side of the coin, DLC is waaaaay more expensive than I thought it would be, but thankfully it's cosmetics-only. (I bought anyway it to support the developers, but dang, that's a lot of dough.) Doesn't feel super optimized either - I had to knock my settings down to high because my computer was getting super hot. Really wish I could make mods and host my own servers, but that's probably asking a bit much for $20.

A few things annoy me gameplay-wise. Heavies get knocked around pretty easily and other players slide right off his model, which makes it difficult to defend the flag. Mines blow up after taking any amount of damage damage, but the proximity of their self-detonation seems teeny tiny. Flag carriers often fly around during stalemates rather than returning to base and having a good ol' fashioned standoff, which I find pretty boring.

All that said, if you can deal with the negatives, the worst of which have nothing to do with the gameplay itself, there is an insanely good time to be had with Tribes 3. The gameplay itself is absolutely phenomenal, and I'm having more fun than I've had in an online FPS in years.
