So I kickstarted this game and am a huge BattleTech fanboy. I have the TCG, the minis, RPG books (that I never played), the novels, hat, shirts, mechwarrior jacket, and tattoos (no not really).

I played through it and put a ton of hours in it and unless you're a huge BattleTech geek (in which case you already own this), it's below average.

When friends ask "Is BattleTech any good?" I answer "Only if you really like BattleTech"

The fact that you can only field a single lance is lame. The performance is garbage on my high end gaming box. The story is meh.

I really want to like this more, and I'll play it some more when the next DLC comes out (I have the season pass), but look elsewhere.
