If you just want to shoot ♥♥♥♥ to high heavens, bludgeon people with all sorts of crap, or just run around punching people for their gear, then you should probably definitely play this. Obvious from the trailers, it uses an 8-bit or 16-bit graphic scheme, which seems to be sort of picking up in trend. Its damn violent, so prepare for a lot of blood and gore. Pretty detailed given its all pixelated. It DOES have a story, but its sort of like LOST: If you dont see it from front to back, it doesn't make much sense. Some pros and cons:

+Responsive controls are always nice
+♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ these beats
+Variety of weapons and ways to eliminate your targets
+Interesting story
+The masks that offer different ways to enter a mission
+You're not punished for playing a certain way. Go in and beat ♥♥♥♥ up.
+Unlimited lives, though this is becoming standard these days.

-The level subtley moves around, which can ♥♥♥♥ up aim
-Enemy AI is the wonkiest of creatures. Sometimes they're MLG 420 N0 Sc0P3 pros, the next they're as reactive as molasses going up hill in winter.
-Trial and error in some cases, which can really screw up a lot of runs
-Bit buggy. One case: Guy with shotgun walks outside to your spawn area while you pick masks, he unloads on you. You don't die and when you knock him down, the game crashes.
-Grading system doesn't make much sense nor does it explain what is good and what is bad. Some grading areas are obvious, while others are open to scrutiny as to what it means. Sometimes you'll get an A+ run, sometimes you'll get a C- without really knowing why.

o Some levels change game mechanics too rapidly, ruins the flow of the game for the sake of story. While its nice to have good story elements, one shouldn't cast an entirely different shade of neon green when its not even expected. Again, this falls into the trial and error con.
