Honestly for a first EA release...it's all right. I definitely can appreciate the additions to weaponry, character design and customization, and new and unique maps to play. To me, it very much has a lot of the bones from the demo. I was skeptical going into it but so far I'd say I've enjoyed it.

That being said, something is WEIRD with the combat now. I'm noticing some sound issues when hitting other people, it's like the hit doesn't always play. I do appreciate the additional sounds though, to be honest I thought my dog was barking a few times at first.

The combat itself definitely feels lighter and more floaty than the demo. So far, I've found the combat in the demo version to feel a lot better to me. Maybe this is an intentional direction, maybe not. A lot of other people seem to share this opinion, at least from what I've seen.

Optimization has not been great, with considerably lower framerates especially with the blood and gore system. I know this is being worked on, but I have to point it out because the demo isn't nearly as bad for me. The blood system overall seems a bit worse, with textures losing resolution. It just has more jank overall.

My biggest feedback is that, in my opinion, the free mode needs to be fleshed out a bit more. I love that I can now add as many Willies as I'd like (up to 5 I think). However, right now you can only select "random battle", so you can't choose which type of fight you have (Fist Play, Brave Stand, etc...). Honestly guys you should consider bringing back the demo version of freemode until you've added the card system back, or whatever replacement you're integrating.

To the devs, I can appreciate you made a roadmap, and hope that you have transparency with your audience as you develop this game further. I'm eager to see what lies ahead for the game, and hope to see the issues described by myself and many others tackled. Thank you!

As a Battlefield veteran, I can safely say this is a very solid entry into the series that is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than the trash that is 2042.

Some of my favorite things about this game so far :

*Gunplay is excellent, after 14 hours I've only had a few instances of bad hit-reg. Maybe I just don't notice the other times?

*Soundtrack and sound design are TOP notch. Hearing all of the battle-chatter of people screaming with explosions and jets flying above you is straight out of a movie at times.

*Optimized and loading times are great, this should be the bare minimum for AAA games but I'm very happy to see it run and play so smoothly.

*Lots of new and unique gadgets to use, I had a good laugh seeing the EOD bot make a return.

*I can choose my experience. Do I want to play large-scale Conquest battles, or go into a more intense game of Breakthrough? Maybe hop into the 64 player Shipment map in Battlefield Portal for some mindless fun. Also able to earn XP in Portal is pretty cool.

*Grounded and realistic cosmetics (as of the writing of this review) are pretty much all us Battlefield fans have wanted, and I'm happy to see them stay true to that promise. I LOVE being a nameless soldier just fighting the good fight, I hope the days of hero shooters are behind us.

*Game overall is fun. I get off of work and play a couple rounds, takes about a minute from launch to get into a game right now. Also...NO EXTERNAL LAUNCHER. I buy the game on Steam, I play it no questions asked. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful.

*Knifing enemies and stealing their dogtags will always be cool. Also is one of the only ways to make sure an enemy stays dead, but good luck pulling this off because some maps are small and you will be dead before the animation is finished.

This game does of course have some faults for me :

* The maps are overall a mixed bag, with many leaning heavily in the close-quarters realm of map design. I sincerely hope they will add some larger maps because sometimes it feels like a straight meat-grinder. Destruction could be a little better but honestly I haven't had too much of a problem with it.

*The insane amount of grinding I need to do just to unlock the stuff I was using in the beta is quite a handful. After 14 hours I finally just unlocked the next AR for the Assault class. Seems a little much right now.

*Classes overall feel pretty pointless. If you aren't running Support, you might as well not be playing a class. The ability for classes to use other kinds of weapons takes a big hit out of a class-based system that otherwise worked well in previous titles. Most of the time I feel like nobody stays dead. Couple the Support spam with squad revives, and it just feels way too easy to get another chance at life. (I am aware there is a weapon locked playlist, but this should be the default IMO).

*Bouncing off of my previous point, some people are so dopamine-dependent that they would rather respawn the second they die versus waiting 10 seconds for a revive. I have pushed through a hail of bullets to get to someone only to have them respawn at the last moment.

*Due to the nature of the way classes and maps are built right now, I see quite a lot of people lone-wolfing just to get some extra kills only to die after running into the middle of an objective.

*The UI needs some work. It remind me a lot of Call of Duty's UI, which is horrible. BF4 and BF1 have great menus, take a page or two from those games.

*The overall amount of content for me seems a little thin for a $70 video game.

Overall, I would say my experience with this game has been pretty positive. I sincerely hope they continue to improve and listen to the feedback of their fans. I think this game has the potential to be as good as BF3 or BF4 with some work and TLC. You guys are doing a great job so far, and I'm very excited to see the future of this title.

As a long time fan of this game, the recent news of the decision to censor your product for the sake of greed has left a horrible taste in my mouth. For those who are not aware, the developer of this game recently made the decision to purposefully censor certain elements in order to receive approval to release this game on console.

So what's the problem? Censoring it for a console release is one thing. While I certainly disagree with censorship of a game that is specifically designed to show the horrors of VERY real situations that our first responders encounter, at the end of the day, I play this game on PC and this issue doesn't affect me...is what I WOULD say if they weren't also censoring the PC version.

Money talks. Clearly, this money spoke to Void Interactive and their bank accounts. Changing the product I have already paid for years ago is wrong. I completely understand from a business perspective what you guys are doing, but as a long time fan of your game, breaking the fundamental fabric of what makes Ready or Not a horrifying yet captivating and "fun" experience is nothing short of a betrayal to the community that has supported your game.

PC gamers are what led to this game becoming successful enough for a console release in the first place, and this decision has broken the trust I had in Void Interactive and their vision with this otherwise great tactical shooter. I should NOT be forced to play a censored version of a game I have already paid for. The disrespect your studio has shown to the community is sad.

Honestly, this game is really good for someone like me who only has a few hours a week to game. Easy to understand mechanics, solid gunplay, and a ton of content to enjoy. I did buy this on sale, and I recommend you do the same.

VERY grindy, so if that's not your thing then I'd avoid this one. It's been out for years but holds up pretty well today!

Very very good game. Excellent gunplay, great weapon variety, and a simple yet rewarding upgrade system. Only thing I'd like to see is an endless roguelite mode and player leveling.

Excited for Zone 3! <3

This game is probably some of the most fun I've had in a while when it comes to the "Lethal Company" vibes. The addition of everything being physics based is genius, and really makes looting the maps a lot more fun. Hits a nice mix of being unnerving and hilarious.

The enemies here are very good, all with learnable patterns and ways to combat them. There's a lot of replayability too, since there are 18 different types that are all unique (with some being more challenging than others). This game actually has stealth mechanics which is huge, really makes fighting enemies seem a lot more fair.

In terms of maps, there are currently 3 level types, with every level being procedurally generated. I've found the levels to be very fun to play through, and the areas are unique enough that it doesn't get stale too quickly. That being said, they have plans to add more in the future and I cannot wait to see that.

Overall, a very good game for the price BUT I will say this is probably the most fun with friends. It's a blast to play right now, and there is much more content planned in the future. Game also runs great, as I haven't had a single crash in almost 20 hours.

9/10 do not pick up the duck.

It is with a heavy heart that I must select "No" for if I recommend this game, and it's all due to frankly unacceptably poor performance and lack of optimization for my hardware.

I am playing this game on an I5-12600K CPU and RTX 4070 GPU, running on an SSD with plenty of RAM. No matter what I try to do, this game refuses to run on my system and usually soft-locks my PC until I can either tab out or have to restart entirely. Out of all of the games in my library, Helldivers 2 is the only game I struggle to run.

Now, I'm sure you can find ways to nitpick my rig, but at the end of the day this horrible experience is enough to turn me off from an otherwise amazing game. I've been diving since release and it very much saddens me to have to post a negative review.

I am aware AH has made comments acknowledging the issue and have plans to fix the game, but to allow the game to reach such a state for many people including myself shouldn't have happened in the first place. I REALLY like this game. It has an incredibly friendly monetization method and is one of the most fun games I've played in quite a long time. Unfortunately, until large strides are made to fix the optimization and game size on PC are implemented, I would either avoid this game for now or refund the game if you buy it and it doesn't run on your system.

To the developers : I love your game, but hate that I can't play it. I promise to return once these issues are fixed, but only then.

I bought this game in 2013 and started playing on a Windows 8 office laptop, getting a solid 18-30 FPS on the vanilla version of the game. Some time in 2015, the Exile mod dropped and my buddies and I played a few hundred hours in that mode. So many memories made with that one mod alone, I will never forget that mod and I am thankful to the developers for creating it.

It is now the year 2024. All of my friends and myself have grown up and have adult lives now. Time has become a commodity that is much more difficult to come by than when I picked this game up over a decade ago. Due to the release of the Antistasi mod, the same friends I played this game with and I have once again picked it up to enjoy a new experience and relive what made Arma so great in the first place. It's still so much fun all of these years later.

This game is a must-have. It's janky, unpolished in certain areas, and crashes a ton (especially with mods)...but I don't care. Here's to another decade of Arma!
