Having over 1000 hours in Space Engineers 1, I am already absolutely impressed with the current state of SE2, it's UI is way clearer, performance is already better than SE1, and It overall feels very polished. 1 thing I am missing, is that there is no loot at all in any of the containers (yet), put the devs are definitely on the right track to make this an awesome sequel to SE1.

15FPS ingame cutscenes, shadows flickering all over the place, controls made by someone without hands and/or eyes.
waited for several years for this, refunded on day 1.

Looking pretty good already!
Have some trouble trying to get my digital drumkit (KAT KT3) to work on it, so I hope a future update will bring midi support.
I also think the graphics could be a lot sleeker, some people might find the interface too cartoony.

I did play around on it, and the sounds are pretty good! I'd even say close to proffessional VSTI's like Superior Drummer and EZ Drummer.
