This is probably my third time returning to this game. First few times I completed Route A and dropped the game from there on out, after having spent a few hours with Route B. Now, it's not to say Route B is bad, but a lot of it can be slightly monotonous considering you know the vast majority of the story that will unfold during the play through. Now let me tell you, reaching Route C, changes absolutely every aspect and beginning this route makes the game feel like a sequel. Everything is changed and the story begins sequentially from the endings of both Route A and B. I highly recommend this game and encourage you to really delve deep and have patience with the story at least enough to make it to Route C, where it really takes off.

Now that's not to say the game isn't without it's problems, at least technically. The game's PC port is lacking in a few departments, but if you can at bare minimum install the FAR mod, it alleviates every issue and makes the game playable all the way through. And if you have an above exceptional PC, you can try the Definitive Mod, which includes FAR, and tons of graphical and technical upgrades that really do give a Definitive Experience to the game. I highly recommend it.

Despite the game's story and technical shortcomings, it's one of the best games I've ever played and really deserves the recognition it's received from the gaming world at large. I highly recommend it.
