Very good real-time tactical game (RTT) that definitely reminds me of the good old commandos games. However, I find the recent Mimimi RTT games (Desperados, Shadow Gambits + Tactics) better in terms of craftsmanship and storytelling (I miss a coherent story). Also some more challenging enemy groups (for example, enemies that can’t be surprised or can only be surprised in pairs) and a "first training mission" with Jack O'Hara + the Diver would have been a nice homage.
Overall, I still recommend buying it, especially if you like TTS games!

Really cool game! Really cool RTS... or rather "The Settlers" city builder style game without tedious enemy battles. Has some cool ideas that are also well implemented. The fantasy aspect put me off at first, but it's exciting after two rounds.
It's well worth the money!

Absolutely recommended by me!

Has a few forgivable bugs and is not quite as "cleanly" programmed as the current gamedev kings of real-time tactics games (RTT): "Mimimi Games" with "Shadow Tactics" and "Desperados 3". But no comparison to the disaster of "Commandos 2 HD Remaster".

I also find the combination and approaches of "inventory management", "RPG like skilltree" and "base building" to the RTT genre very interesting and a cool idea!

All in all, "Partisans 1941" is a very good game - buy it!
