Here is some stuff about the current state of the game what makes it so unfun and frustrating to play that I rather go to bed play clash of clans than play this:

Matchmaking is COMPLETELY screwed. Every round I die immediately because in this game when your team doesnt come to help you are dead. People just dont do that. It is SUPER frustrating that I am not able to play the game but rather have to wait ages for a new match because I die after 2 minutes (6 if I get lucky and someone else gets killed before me...)
The next part is that the other people may as well ♥♥♥♥ up so bad that they doom the entire team. It happens more often than not that I am the last man standing like what am I supposed to do? Kill the killer?
This makes the game as survivor COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE when playing alone. Its reason enough to stop playing all together.
Yes you cant ban people for being bad but there is more design wise to it than just no skill (Im in the highest skill group too, people still cant take the killer for more than 15 seconds.

Just to prove my point here is the result of the match I had WHILE making this review:
I had the most points of all people
all 4 people got downed at once
I was the last person standing
Due to me writing this review I was more AFK than not
So as you can see the problem with this game is it is team based, however semi AFK regularly has better chances to perform better than all 3 in his team if he knows what he is doing.

Below is my review over all:

I am a game developer myself and I know how hard it is that is why I wont say more about the games bugs than sometimes they literally break it.
However I also know how important communication in your team is. I haven't looked at the code but I am 90% sure if they documented it properly they could fix hitboxes, what they said them self is so much work it could only happen in DBD 2. The communication error on their side persists tho bacause they just LOVE delaying updates that people are just waiting for sooo much. The best example is October 2019. They wanted to put it out then but barely made it. But the main feature in the update was STILL deactivated and that is just bad time management.
I believe most Problems can be solved with better communication
