Just a really fun and calm management game. Fully recommend.

The gameplay, feel, generally story, audio, combat, basically everything deserves a 9/10. Didn't enjoy the ending though, but that's to my personal preference. Also a bit disappointed as to why the romancable characters aren't all poly or at least pan by default like in most games, just limiting to the player for no reason and games like Baldurs Gate do this better. I don't want to do a whole 2nd playthrough just to see what female V's interactions are with the straight or lesbian characters.

P.S. Also ran surprisingly well after the years of patches and updates (after a bit of settings tinkering of course)

TLDR: There are a lot of things to like about this game and it is certainly an upgrade to the previous game. There are currently some bugs but I believe they will be soon patched up. The story is amazing but feels punishing while not explaining why it is so, unlike the first game. It truly is an emotional rollercoaster though and I, for all its faults, cannot recommend this game enough.

To start off, this is probably my favourite indie game with the second being the original Yes, Your Grace. While I encountered a few graphical bugs, I encountered no game breaking bugs like some players. I am sure though that most of them will be resolved in the upcoming weeks as there have been multiple patches already in the few days of the release of this game.
By far my favourite thing about the game is the soundtrack, honestly it is probably my favourite game soundtrack bar none. Even if this was the worst game ever, it would be worth to just play it for that.
The visuals are also stunning, I enjoyed the art style for the game though some objects I felt were just a little strange when they were 3D. What is funny is that, even though the voice lines in this game are pure blabber, I felt a lot of emotion in them and I give props to the voice actors for the game, though I do wish the same voice actor wasn't used for 2 petitioners in a row. Maybe this could be solved with a patch though.
The new ways of solving each problem/petition is also great, with a few quirks I really enjoyed the more complex problem solving with
As for the story, it is amazing. I have some issues with it, but for the vast majority of the game it is great. So many twists and turns (even compared to the first game) that I really enjoyed it. When I thought the game would copy the first one and make you collect your allies one by one for a large chunk of the game, it just didn't. Spoilers for the end: I felt the track to Grevno a little tedious but a necessary build up for the end. The end though I do have some issues with. Maybe I really did screw it up massively but playing on normal I really felt that the game didn't show me a good way of getting the good ending (or one of them). For the battle while you're still in the keep, I felt I had to make really tough choices and barely got everything ready in the time by the skin of my teeth. But despite that, I made it even though I was tense about it. For the final battle, I chose sneaking in and even though I balanced my team out (of which I had everyone apart from the priest) the prince was still gone, the kids were killed and I got stabbed. Maybe there is no way of avoiding Marcel getting away and it is simply set up for the next game, but the end screens didn't feel that way. As for Eryk, I am very mad he died for me. I understand if I messed up some quest somewhere but I did everything the game had to offer, at least to my knowledge and he still died. I did Asalias quest for her elixir, I gave him the doctors elixir. I truly tried everything and he still dies an extremly brutal death. I might retry this once some guides come out and such. The first game did have some finnicy things about it but for the most part if you screwed up you knew what you screwed up, that is not the case here and that is why I am upset.
