Must-try combat. I want this gameplay to gain a strong foothold in gaming. It would do well across multiple genres. Imagine this gameplay in a game like Kingdom Come, for example. Imagine a Dark Souls experience with solo, co-op pve, and pvp invasions all using this style of combat.

The downsides to this game include a toxic community and unrewarding objectives. There is no sense of progression or collection, and the gameplay feels extremely repetitive.

This is a prime example of inventive, killer core mechanics absolutely begging for a fun gameplay loop.

A true RPG medieval simulation. Requires and rewards patience and curiosity. This ain't the witcher so come in with proper expectations and you're gonna have a damn good time.

No online servers for months on end.

It's ridiculous that in 2022 in a high-profile game such as this we weren't given playstation buttons in the UI when using dualshock controller.

This game is Dead Souls 2 in an open world. It's very fun. It's also not the best FromSoft has on offer.

Bring back the f&*king DS3 servers already.

Yep def recommend. This is my favorite multiplayer experience in VR at the moment. Big potential, plenty of bugs. This is the kind of game we've all been wanting

Watch the 5 episode anime on YouTube. Watch the movie on Netflix. Do those before you play and if you're forgiving like me you'll find it's possible to enjoy this game. It's fundamentally broken, don't get me wrong, particularly in the combat and storytelling. I just enjoyed the world that they built and the story they intended to tell.

I like weird games. I like games that try really hard to do something different, even if they fail spectacularly. I really ended up liking this game.

It's one of the best available VR experiences, even still in 2021, which sadly says more about the state of the industry's interest in VR development than it does about this game. Although this is a great game

It's very hard to find good matchmade games, but if you have a group you can have a good time.

It's all right. I wish I bought it on sale, but otherwise it's good dumb fun. Good nostalgia

Technical bugs and design issues prevent this from being a decent experience. There are numerous quality of life inconveniences in the menus, including in combat, and playing with mouse is at times unusable. For me, the game hangs occasionally when quitting the app.

The dialogue writing is poor, and filled with cliches and hackneyed game/fantasy tropes.

The visuals are top notch, the combat is fun and varied, and the over aesthetic is a lot of fun.

In summary, I think the game is worth picking up for about $10-15 US. The awkwardness and inconveniences are worth tolerating at that price, and there is definitely fun to be had.
