A multiplayer co-op one-of-a-kind game brimming with potential, let down by half-baked mechanics and under par AI. Although the game itself has improved by leaps and bounds since it was first released, it is still haunted by semi-broken gameplay mechanics introduced from day one. The game features solid gunplay and somewhat interesting objective-based missions that rely heavily on cooperation with other players to succeed.

As mentioned, gunplay is pretty solid with alluring weapons despite rather disappointing stat-based weapon customisations. Heists vary enough from each other to keep the game interesting. Stealthing heists has been revamped entirely to make it more bearable but no less challenging. Available skills that can be acquired by spending skill points are also quite diverse which allows multiple play-styles, although some skills need to be reworked. Graphics and responsiveness in the game are spot on provided you have a machine decent enough to run the game smoothly.

On the other hand, level progression becomes tedious after awhile as resetting back to nil subsequntly reaching the maximum level nets the player almost no rewards that are worthwhile other than bragging rights. Developers release very slightly overpriced DLCs every few months or so that adds new heists, weapons and playable characters to a game that already has quite a roster of content. The game itself isn't really optimised graphics-wise and can be a little bit taxing on older PCs. Friendly AI heisters are useless in single-player scenarios, so hold off this purchase if you decide to play this game in offline mode only. However, if you're in for mindless shooting of law enforcers and titan cops with buddies, then this is the game for you.
