I can't get over how this game checks so many boxes for me.

MASSIVE scale on the monsters. At one point I felt like I was fighting Godzilla
The story, while a little disconnected, is engaging enough for you to get hooked in.
The weapon selection is extremely satisfying, range from assault rifle to giant rocket launchers. No weapon feels too overpowered. Infinite ammo (with reloads) is great so you don't have to worry about getting ammo packs.

Only issues:
The story mode missions can get a little tedious, especially when you don't have a full group. You can easily get overwhelmed but sometimes you're just sitting there shooting in a single spot over and over.

The game is really fun, looking forward to picking up EDF 5 once I finish this.
