It's pinball, it's good pinball. The inclusion of real life tables (even for an extra cost) makes the game worth it.

You can play a skateboarding skelly that kickflips when he jumps. I mean....what else do you need?

You can definitely see the inspirations of Gemini Home Entertainment and Local 58 in this game. You're constantly working towards something and have this intensly uneasy feeling as time goes by. It's horror, but not jump scare horror. The ending is fantastic for what you go through.

A good fun time.

Light on horror but dripping with amazing atmosphere and stellar voice acting. You play a DJ who has to take the countys 911 calls for a short time while there's a killer on the loose. You'll have to solve puzzles by helping callers. There's also records to collect and a soundboard to play laugh tracks while the townsfolk die. :D

A little short but it's still a fun experience to go through. Kind of reminded me of Firewatch.

Light on the items and synergies compared to Vampire Survivors, but the stages and Diablo style feel to the game shine here and help it feel a little less overwhelming. As most RNG bullet hell games, there's a slow curve of improvement but once you start collecting potions then things get fun real fast.

Devs say they plan on more updates, more levels and characters. Excited to see where this lands out of EA

It's such a wonderful homage to the PS1 horror games of old. The attention to detail and use of sound FX (even the sound of a disc drive seeking while moving between rooms) is so great. Play with headphones. Sound design in a horror game is important, this game nails it.

The choice between different screen effects to give the game a different feel per era is also a nice touch. The game is short, but the story is effective and was a real fun/terrifying time.

I can't get over how this game checks so many boxes for me.

MASSIVE scale on the monsters. At one point I felt like I was fighting Godzilla
The story, while a little disconnected, is engaging enough for you to get hooked in.
The weapon selection is extremely satisfying, range from assault rifle to giant rocket launchers. No weapon feels too overpowered. Infinite ammo (with reloads) is great so you don't have to worry about getting ammo packs.

Only issues:
The story mode missions can get a little tedious, especially when you don't have a full group. You can easily get overwhelmed but sometimes you're just sitting there shooting in a single spot over and over.

The game is really fun, looking forward to picking up EDF 5 once I finish this.

Gameplay is simplistic, puzzle based narratives. It excels at creating a great atmosphere and telling an out of order story through the lens of anthology-style episodic content. I'd play episodes like this forever.

Jump scares are minimal but effective.

This game is the ultimate love letter to platformers of the past like Mega Man, Castlevania and others. The soundtrack is epic and memorable, the characters are unique and the gameplay is extremely smooth. I'm terrible at platformer games and even I was able to find a rhythm with the controls that brought tons of joy.

Highly recommended.

A fun game with a lot of personality and some definite spooky elements. The 'evolution' of the story was pretty surprising as I went into this game knowing very little about it. Make sure your typing skills are up to par! Looking forward to playing again someday to unlock the other endings.
