Is this game worth it? Yes, absolutely. 100%. If you like Visual Novels, yes sir. If you haven't played any VN's (like me!) or don't especially like them, this is STILL worth your time.
First of all, my first experience with the Steins;Gate universe was with the anime. If you've seen the anime, welcome! Many of these lines, scenes, or ideas will be familiar to you.
A few differences, however. First, I find that this game goes more into depth on concepts and also has a little more playability. Obviously in the anime, there was only one ending. Not here.

That being said, what do I like about the game? I have to say, the anime did a great job. So many of the characters are portrayed just like they should be. I love the character interactions. It drags a little slower than you might expect in the beginning however. A good 3 hours of what I felt like was setting up the scene, if not more than 3 hours.
I also loved the music. It's repetitive sure, but it's lovely. I am astounded by how I never ever got tired of it. I actually originally started to play Steins;Gate ELITE first, but honestly, I love these designs much more than I like the "anime style" visual novel thing. Eyes are great, man, gotta say. Love those eyes, and the hair. And once the ball gets rolling, it gets rolling. It has a great story, a great soundtrack, killer characters, wonderful direction and actual theories that are spoken about in depth. (Never have I ever wanted to be a physicist more!) I'm going to give this a solid 9.5/10, with the only issue in my mind being the beginning of the game after the conference. It drags a little long, and honestly, I'm about to replay it over the next few weeks over and over and the beginning may get a little mind numbing. That being said, I haven't replayed it yet. If that issue goes away for me, then this game deserves a 10/10. Buy it, full price. Support the creators. It's 100% worth it. I do not regret blowing my money on this game at all.
