Hey there! A little bit about me, you might be wondering what my group's profile picture is. That’s Klaymen, the main character from The Neverhood, a quirky claymation adventure game from 1996. I first played the game when I was 4 years old.. At the time, I didn’t even know the game’s real name.. I just called it “Spooky” because of how spooky it was haha. Many years later, I rediscovered it and finally learned what it was really called.

Klaymen is a soft, silly guy who embarks on a bizarre adventure through The Neverhood, following the path set by the king who created everything around him, including Klaymen himself. The game holds a special place in my heart, so I made him the avatar of my group as a tribute.

I started out playing Nintendo, spending hours on Super Mario Bros., then moved on to Xbox, where I played for about 8 years. Eventually, I saved up enough to build my own PC and made the switch in 2020.

Another game that holds a special place in my heart is DOOM (1993). I first played it on the Atari as a kid, and it was my very first FPS. Looking back, there are three games that truly defined my childhood: The Neverhood, New Super Mario Bros., and DOOM.

Each of them shaped my gaming experience in a different way. Super Mario Bros. was pure, lighthearted fun, and the kind of game that made me feel like a kid no matter how many times I played it. The Neverhood challenged my mind with its bizarre puzzles while immersing me in a world full of wacky characters. Honestly, I would say DOOM is what sparked my interest for FPS games.
