IMO, the best story of seasons/harvest moon game of all time. Does it have its flaws? Of course. But man I love this game.

It's a very cute game that is unfortunately very lacking. I haven't even played for an hour and I've completed all requests. They take maybe 30-60 seconds each because you are so hand-held that you don't feel any desire to further renovate/upgrade the space. So if you're considering buying this game for the more structured mode like I did, don't bother. It feels like nothing more than an extended tutorial. And the sandbox mode seems pretty bare as well.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I see lots of my friends with this in their wishlists and want them to be able to make informed decisions.

If this game wasn't dirt cheap, I would be refunding it. The gameplay is boring, finicky, and buggy. I played for 30 minutes and I have completely lost interest. It's the same boring loop, and not in a cozy unpacking sort of way even on chill mode. The game doesn't explain things like needing to buy certain stickers, and then a place to put those stickers in at all. So it punishes you for not picking options you didn't know existed. Hard pass. Such a shame.

If you like Unpacking, or games like it, you will LOVE this game. It's so charming, and the story telling is so wonderful. The devs seem to be adding content all the time, so this is SO worth it.

It's really cute, and I enjoyed it a lot. But I feel the price is a tad too high for how many hours (just over 5, very casually played) you get out of it. I'm hoping to see some free DLC. At the end of the day, I do recommend the game :)

As a huge Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, etc fan, there is something special about Fields of Mistria. In a world flooded with farming rpgs, this one stands out in the crowd. The characters, the art style, the gameplay, the NPCs, and so much more are so incredibly charming.

This game has SO much to do. As a newbie to the whole FF series, I found this to be a great entry point. I am addicted for sure.
