The game is visually decent getting better with each new state releases. The oldest three states California, Nevada, Arizona need some revamping to keep up with the most recent released state. The driving part of the game is somewhat accurate for most looking for the basic feel of long haul trucking without the sore a$$ to prove it lol.... As far as updates are concerned ( 2 states per year DLC), and have been playing catch up with truck brands here and there, but its a slow process. with only few models represented by the brands that are currently available ......I say catch it on sale to test it out, cause you most likely will be putting out some cash for the DLC if you are looking to expand your game east........

I think it still needs some work in the area of parking/rest areas, if you try and park in most rest areas not long enough to accomidate your extra long load you are pretty much SOL unless you straddle two or three parking slots, also i have found a few places where bridges/tunnels will hang you up if you are too far to the right side or lowest part of the overhead structure being passed. looks like it will and should clear but hitting it at full speed to find out your just totalled your load is not fun lol.....
