Dishonored 2 is a perfect game like the fist one of the series , but ... i cant say ''wow what a masterpiece'' like i said when i played the first Dishonored. It cant be a pure 10/10 and i will explain why :

PLOT :

Fifteen years after the events of the first game , Corvo and Emily (Empress's daughter) are ruling the empire until a new enemy named Deliah , who presents herself as Emily's aunt , arrives the city of Dunwall the 15th anniversary of the Empress's murder. She , with the help of the Duke of Serkonos and some guards of the palace, attacks against the throne , turning one of the duo (Corvo and Emily) into stone.

-You are able to pick whoever charachter you want to play with , this is the first choice you make. Notice , that the game is almost the same , only dialogues change between the two characthers and the endings as the game provides 6 different endings based on the choices you make.

Typicall Dishonored model , you have the assist of new companions who transfer you from place to place while you try to assasinate one by one the heads of the conspiracy in order to retrieve the throne.

CHARACHTERS - ATMOSPHERE :

What can i say ?? These guys know how to develop interesting charachters with great backrounds. I wish the game lasted longer so i could have interacted with the people in it more.
Atmosphere is just beatiful , the people who made this game can be considered as artists , i dont have anything more to say.

GAMEPLAY :

As second choice , the game gives you the option to accept or not the mark of The Outsider , in simple words , to have superpowers or not. I dont have much to say about the gameplay , its the same with the first one , i just loved it all the way , it has a big variety of satisfying finishes using your sword. Pistol and crossbow hadnt any changes , same with grenades and mines.

-Superpowers didnt change as well.
-Upgrading system is based on runes and bonecharms , while in order to upgrade your weapons , you have to find a blackmarket , usually located in the begging of the mission-city.
-Looting seems to be less (?) , in my opinion it was decreased as i felt lacking coins even though i was searching all over the place.
-A new ''gadget'' is added to help you in a specific mission which give you the ability to time-travel whenever you like. Pretty awesome , sadly it didnt last as much as i wanted.
-They replaced rats with some insects , they were annoying and unnecessary , they should have avoided them in my opinion .

GRAPHICS - AUDIO - PERFORMANCE :

Graphics are heavily improved compared to the first game , nice colors and brightness. Great voice acting by the protagonists and the random npcs.
According to the forums and the community hub here , the game was very bad optimized and even high end-pcs couldnt run the game properly. I was aware of this problem , but then i found a patch note and reviews saying that the game was optimized well. So yeah .. i didnt face any problem even though i dont have a high end-pc , i had 0 laggs .

-WHY THIS GAME ISN'T A MASTERPIECE LIKE THE FIRST ONE ?

Well , first of all the game barely changed , gameplay is almost the same , the model is also the same , i mean you are traveling from place to place to slowly reach the key target and eliminate it. Also the story hadn't any plot twists , it was pretty simple , someone took the throne and now you fight back to retrieve it. I wanted more than this ...

CONCLUSION :

I give this game a 8/10 , i recommend it in a 50% off price , because it is a bit short ( took me 12 hours with slow gameplay and medium difficulty+high chaos) . Overall an excellent game which tried but failed not to be covered by the first one of the series.
