Decent lego game, The free play mode lets you free roam the levels like they're each mini hub worlds. The levels are long and can kinda drag in story mode, but the amount of content that is put into the level once you revisit in free play gives the game a lot more play time that doesn't just feel like boring, mindless collecting.

The character roster tries to give good fan service with the amount of characters from the show are in it, but there are also a lot of repeat characters that take up too much space(7 different Lloyds, 5 different Kais, 4 Coles with none of them being ghost Cole, and like 19 different types of Garmadon minions)
If you are a fan of the Lego Ninjago movie, or just Lego games in general, this one is a fun and refreshing take on the old formula, and it doesn't feel as spread thin as some of the other Lego games that have massive hub worlds and nothing to do in them.

If you are a fan of the Ninjago tv show and thought the movie wasn't very good, you might find this game to be annoying. Any characters or abilities from the show take a backseat to their movie counterparts, spinjutsu is turned into a projectile that you fire off to solve puzzles, and the voice acting can be really grating to listen to if you're used to the tv show voices(RIP Kirby Morrow).

All in all, I was able to 100% this game with only 27 hours put into it, based on the price I'd say wait until its on sale before adding this game to your collection.

I am terrified of this game. It owns my soul and tortures me without end. The obamium dangles in front of me tantalizingly, yet I, a peasant with a wooden pick, am unable to partake in its glory. As I locate the iron ore and begin extracting the fruits of my labors, a rock with a fat ♥♥♥♥ slams his ♥♥♥♥ on my head, killing me instantly and ending my run. 10/10
