Silent Hill f is a letdown

I want to start by saying that I really enjoyed the Silent Hill 2 Remake, which is why I had high expectations for this game. Unfortunately, Silent Hill f feels nothing like that previous title.

Story
The story is overly confusing. While it has some interesting moments, most of the time I had no idea what was going on, and the ending didn’t help at all. I understand that there are five different endings, but I shouldn’t need to replay the game five times just to understand the basic story.

Combat
The worst part of the game is the combat, and it’s easily the main reason why I will never replay this game. The combat is absolutely terrible and incredibly annoying. I’m not sure what the developers were trying to achieve here, but whatever it was, it clearly didn’t work.

Performance
Performance-wise, the game generally runs well, but there are noticeable micro-stutters whenever enemies are about to appear. This unintentionally trains the player to expect enemies whenever the game stutters, which completely ruins immersion.

Final Thoughts
Overall, Silent Hill f is a mess. The story is far too vague and requires multiple playthroughs just to maybe understand what’s happening, which is made even worse by some of the worst combat I’ve ever experienced. The original Silent Hill combat would have been a much better choice here.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a technical disaster

After spending over an hour tweaking settings, I came to the conclusion that this game is simply unplayable for me. GPU memory usage is constantly maxed out at 100%, causing the game to run out of VRAM and throttle nonstop. Frame rates swing wildly — jumping up to 80 FPS, then dropping to as low as 20 in an instant. Traveling between areas causes constant stuttering, even after shaders have supposedly finished compiling. No matter what settings I use, performance remains awful across the board.

It’s a shame, because the game itself looks genuinely interesting. However, some design choices completely kill immersion. Having to press a button just to jump or squeeze through tight spaces feels clunky. The bright yellow paint marking breakable crates look ridiculous and break the atmosphere. And for some reason, the flashlight turns on and off automatically — you can’t control it yourself. It even flickers to “warn” you of nearby danger. Hard to believe this is the same studio behind last year’s Silent Hill 2 Remake.

It’s clear that Cronos: The New Dawn takes a lot of inspiration from Dead Space, and I’ve heard the story is actually really good. Unfortunately, the technical performance is so bad that I can’t even experience it properly. Until the developers fix these issues, I can’t recommend this game in its current state.

Mayhem has never felt better!

Borderlands 4 is easily the best game in the franchise. Every aspect has been improved tremendously. The story is solid and takes on a more serious tone compared to the previous one. Gunplay feels amazing — there are more weapons than ever, with tons of RNG variations for attachments, mods, and bonuses. Shooting is super satisfying and never gets old. There’s also a lot of build variety. It would be nice to have a loadout system to quickly switch between them, but that’s just a thought. Movement has also seen big improvements, and with the addition of the jetpack, exploring the world feels great. Side quests are fantastic, and with around 150 of them, there’s plenty of content to enjoy. Enemy variety is strong, and there are tons of enemies on screen at once — it really captures that classic Borderlands mayhem. Bosses have great designs and are fun to farm, though I wish there were a more of them.

One thing I’m still unsure about is the move to an open-world structure. For me, the different environments, zones, and biomes have always been a big part of what made Borderlands special. With the new open-world setup, it feels like some of that uniqueness is missing. There are still distinct areas, but they don’t stand out quite as much. Hopefully, upcoming DLCs will add more of those classic, unique environments.

The endgame is handled much better this time. You no longer need to replay the entire campaign just to unlock everything. Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is now tied to replaying specific missions or activities, which is way more straightforward and less grindy. That said, UVH5 does feel a bit on the easy side.

Performance-wise, it’s decent but not perfect. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and looks fantastic, but it definitely pushes your hardware. With a 3070, I’m getting around 70–80 FPS at 1440p on medium settings with DLSS set to Balanced — not amazing, but still smooth with zero stuttering when paired with a 7800X3D. Might be time for a GPU upgrade...

Overall, Borderlands 4 is amazing. Gearbox clearly listened to community feedback and delivered a fantastic entry in the series packed with content and improvements. Everything that worked in Borderlands 3 has been refined here. I’m really hoping future seasonal events and DLCs expand on the world with more unique zones. Either way, this is a must-play for any Borderlands fan.

Wuchang Fallen Feathers runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥

I was really looking forward to this game, because everything that was shown prior release looked promising . After 2 hours of playtime I am actually really enjoying this game, but unfortunately the performance is just unacceptable. The graphical fidelity of Wuchang is nothing special, so I really wonder - Why does this game require an RTX 9000 GPU in order to run good? Probably, because no one optimized this UE5 garbage. I remember that Lords Of The Fallen launched in almost the same way, with identical performance issues. They were fixed after some time, but I am really getting tired of games releasing before optimizations are done. It literally ruins the whole first experience of playing the game, which in my opinion cannot be fixed with patches...

Wuchang Fallen Feathers looks like a really interesting souls-like, with some unique mechanics. It takes inspiration from some of my favorite souls games. Too bad that the performance of this game is in such a bad shape. I do not think that this is acceptable and I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this game right now. I am pretty sure that it will be fixed in a couple of months. Too bad, that it's not ready to be played on release day, as it should be.

Atomic Heart is cool

The story is very interesting, despite being a bit predictable at times. The gameplay is ok, unique mechanics differentiate it from a lot of FPS games. There are some very annoying puzzles, along the journey, that slow your progress needlessly, just for the sake of it. The music is amazing and I found the atmosphere very enjoyable. Boss design is cool, but some of the bosses feel like bullet sponges. They have way too much health.

Overall, Atomic Heart is a nice game. Soviets would be proud. I really look forward to the sequel!

Stellar Blade is extremely overrated

I want to say that I waited for this generic ass game for one year, to come out on PC, because it was exclusive for PlayStation. The graphics are nice and the jiggle physics are there, in order to attract some audience, but that's where the good ends. The story is so boring, that I started watching Netflix after the 5th hour. The first 3 hours of the game are the best parts of it, after that everything you do is the same and it gets so repetitive . The combat is just bad. You do the same attack and hack/slash the same enemies continuously over and over. I completely disagree that this game is a souls like , because it's very easy. Bosses are all the same. There are 5 types of enemies and after your first couple of hours you have seen it all. The world is badly designed, there are just not enough cool areas to explore and oh my god the platforming of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is one of the most annoying parts of it. It's very obvious that the developers worked a lot to improve the main characters' design, but maybe it would have been better to improve things like movement, combat and world, before adding 50 different costumes for Eve...

Stellar Blade is one of the most disappointing games of all time (for me at least). Bland story, boring combat and world exploration, the side quests suck ass and nothing of this game is really that special. I really do not understand how this game is rated so high, almost as if it's a masterpiece...I guess - boob physics do make a difference after all.

I'm tired

Assassin's Creed Shadows is the worst AC game ever made.

The bad
The core design of this game is incredibly bad. Basically the main missions resolve around going from point A to point B and killing an NPC. Before that you need to go through around 15/20 minutes of painful dialogue with other NPCs that just makes you want to quit playing the game. Sometimes you follow these NPCs for some minutes while talking. After the 5th hour I started skipping the non-stop talking, because it was just so bad, that I couldn't really progress the game anymore. The dialogue of this game feels like it was generated with AI back from 2019. It is awful. What I remember from the story is we are searching for some box and we are killing NPCs that have some info on that box. What the actual ♥♥♥♥, Ubisoft? Yasuke character is just cringe and annoying, should be deleted from the game. Unnecessary character that was obviously added just for some DEI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There are many other characters, that I couldn't even remember their names. All of the characters have literally zero character development. Cutscenes are locked at 30fps. Facial animations are awful. The first 2 hours of the game are mainly cutscenes - keep in mind that in order to get a refund you need to have less than 2 hours of playtime, but in order to see how bad the gameplay for this game is, you need to play more than 2 hours, so this was definitely intentional, in order to reduce refunds. The performance of the game sucks, because ray-tracing is forced and cannot be turned off. The combat is the worse of the whole series, just painfully repetitive based on numbers and dmg multipliers, also it's very clunky. Enemies keep calling more enemies and at some point you are being attacked by 20 enemies shooting at you at the same time, it's just difficult to explain how bad the combat design really is. Mission choices have no impact whatsoever, they are just there, because Ubisoft has some random bimbo employee that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per month to implement this ♥♥♥♥ "gameplay" mechanic...Entering/Leaving the Hideout has a loading screen lol, why? This was just really interesting why these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Ubisoft couldn't remove this loading screen out of the dumb ass Hideout, as in other places going through different areas is seamless.

The good
I am really happy that I managed to complete this game, after 2 months of torture, and that this painful experience is over. The graphics are good and that's about it.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is so bad , that it's actually really interesting how did Ubisoft manage to make such an awful game. I definitely do NOT recommend this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage and honestly I think I'm done with Ubisoft. This was the last time I gave them a chance, just because I really loved the Assassin's Creed Series, but they have ruined everything good about the franchise.

The Slayer is back

I want to say that I did not enjoy Doom Eternal and I am very happy that Doom: The Dark Ages is a different game. Right now you stand and fight, there is none of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that Eternal had, where you had to jump, dash and constantly switch weapons. Enemies are designed better, movement feels better and I'd say that overall everything in this game is just better.

One thing that is NOT better is performance. The game is forcing ray-tracing, so you know what that means...great visuals, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance. This is an even bigger issue, because we are in the Dark Ages of the GPU market, so finding a GPU that can run this game is a bit difficult. Maybe we should send The Slayer to Nvidia...

Ah ♥♥♥♥ here we go again...

The Last Of Us Part 2 is an amazing game, but like Part 1, the technical state of this port is terrible. CPU usage at 90% with a 7800X3D, micro stuttering, constantly compiling shaders and the worst of the issues are the non stop crashes. Currently, I am BLOCKED from progressing the game. After the end of one of the chapters, there is a cutscene, with Ellie playing the guitar. After that cutscene, the game CRASHES immediately, every single time. I managed to progress through that cutscene by lowering the resolution to 1080p (disgusting) and I started the next chapter, which is a flashback, but the moment I switch back my resolution to something higher than 1080p the game crashes. Another issue is the controls, mouse and keyboard doesn't work properly for some reason, I think they are emulating the mouse to work like a controller or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that...

What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, otherwise I've played the game multiple times on PlayStation and I really enjoy it. There are some DEI moments, but in it's core, it's a really good game with a compelling story, really well done mechanics and great level design. Unfortunately, the technical state of the game is in really bad shape. They will probably fix it in a couple of months, but you can clearly see that they rushed the ♥♥♥♥ out of this port to release it before Season 2 of the HBO series, which is a damn shame.
