You have to mention first how gorgeous the art direction and some of these animations are! The first time you kill Mr Barrellhead, nothing could prepare me for how spectacular his death was, absolutely stunning effect imo.

As someone who plays alot of indie games, so much so I'm often playing alone, I love the pacing and progression of this game. I hated the idea of being too week to play normal by myself but I just sucked it up and played easy. It wasn't hard but after couple of rounds of easy I had enough meta progression and understanding to start doing normal difficulty and now about 5 runs of norms I feel I might be strong enough to take on hard soon just need a bit more gold for another upgrade. It makes since and it starts becoming really satisfying progressing through each run. Love it!

its brilliant! I'm only getting done with my first CALiseum run and theres a lot of meta progression so seeing tiers of food monsters I can't create yet and seeing the crazy abilities they have makes you want to keep playing and try em for yourself. Its unique, stylish and fun to play before you even address the cooking mama side of things that can make a run better or worse, LOTS of potential with this one especially on the pvp front

NO WHERE near perfect tho, so poor responses in some of the minigames, clarity on how meta progression works isn't all there, some things can only be done with mouse clicks while other things can only be done with keyboard, theres quite a bit that needs ironing out but if you can flesh out more creatures and streamline some things this could be a sleeper hit imo. Promote promote promote and get that pvp matchmaking/lobby system in the works because even if people don't want the game for pvp the idea its there and you can take your skills from pve and test yourself against someone is a carrot that actually makes ppl return to pve, theres plenty of articles on this yet its not prioritized nearly enough, don't neglect it

Literally negative reviews because: Concord-like, Ew Imagine Dragons, and wtf no F2P?!

Game is good, unique, they added more abilities and upgrades to the characters and it feels nice. If you liked Gigantic, Loadout, Deceive Inc or any of those indie shooters that did something different and special give it a go! I was skeptical after my early Demo experience, glad I checked it out at release

EDIT: Just had to say once you get the feel for the movement and how abilities work together this feels so much like LOADOUT. Seriously get the rights to that game and rerelease it

EDIT 2: I've NEVER seen someone do free weekends every weekend just to generate buzz for console release. Sick idea and hope more indie companies use ideas like this. Huge W, try it out

Started playing this with my buddies years ago to do poker nights when we couldn't come together, especially during covid. The main thing is that you can see when your opponents are looking at their cards or deciding between folding or betting, you literally can pick up on tell from your friends like you would at the table and then being able to have our own custom dudes is cool too. Nothing beats it as a poker sim if you have friends to play legit with

If you have a core group of friends and an adaptor for your gamecube controller, its the second coming of melee with patches and content seasons. And ngl the item update is oddly satisfying. Havent played with items in any smashlike in ages but idk hard to explain but it just a great addition as an option really nostalgic. W game at full price, catch it on a sale its a steal imo

Someone said Megabonk 2.0 and idk about all that. This is more of a better version of LORT imo. Active aiming/ability use swarm killing with the tony hawk grind, double jump, movement and abilities feels nice. Making builds is intuitive and seem like it has lots of variety. Beat my first run and look forward to playing more and playing pvp to fk with my friends. Hope they add larger scale pvp tho

Ppl hate on battle royales but its a fkin vibe when done right. High intense fights with chill looting periods to slap ass with your boys cuz yall are the best then back to business - Become an apex legend hit a victory rip of zaza cuz you earned it and queue again! Peak

I love it! The career is fun, it can be as challenging as you want it to be. There more that can be added and tweaked and given the publisher and how iRacing's main game handles things it'll get there.

We do need public multiplayer lobbies/matchmaking and Original Fire Games previous titles had them so I expect it to come as well. I'm sure it will get review bombed like every other game especially with iRacing Andy's expectations but if you are a fan of the devs work, this is going to be their greatest work yet. Seeing the old stages from a different perspective and their exploration of elevation on the tracks is awesome. Looking forward to whats to come

They have a road map revamping quests which is big because they are uninspired right now but it's not completely sandbox, queuing out for PVP whenever it pops is great XP and every ability being a skillshot, even basic attacks is awesome! If they can lock in on balance, this will be the best PVP in and indie MMO imo
