I rarely leave reviews so when I do, it's either a great game or a really bad one.

This game was a shot in the dark for me since it barely released into early access and I normally play first person shooters. I do love me some Ark tho. It has been a while since I did a survival rpg so I figured this one would be alright even at the sale price point. I would say even at the $30 usd full price is great.

I actually got into it from the get go. The water is beautiful and I can't take my eyes off it, the combat is decent but I probably have to get used to it. I'm solo'ing it but if you have friends, you can have up to 10 players in a session/dedi (Lucky). Games that allow for dedi's is a win in my book. I'm still learning the resources but that won't stop me from havin a good time. Only got about 5 hours at the time of this review but plan on playing more of it.

I never cared for these types (FMV) of games but hey I saw it had sci-fi atmosphere and wanted to try something outside my taste so why not. I actually enjoyed it, the acting was good, the special effects were great as well as the audio.

Its a great game if you just want a fast paced casual shooter with some looting aspects, decent story, challenging challenges, and upgradable locations in the safe area. One of those games where you start sitting back in your chair and enjoying the look and feel and ending up at the edge of your seat.

In the beginning of the game its simple, mine this to get that. As you progress it gets harder because you need multiple items to make one item. I've lost myself when i start this game up. it's unlike any game i play and it also sucks me in. its not the fastest paced game but it is very satisfying to see how well you can manage space and make everything more efficient. This game will always have a place on my hdd.
